E.J.M van Steenderen BV was founded in 1995 in Berkel en Rodenrijs. At this greenhouse of 1,5 hectare where varieties like Vendela and Black Magic have been cultivated, from which she obtained a lot of awareness.

In 2000, the decision was made to move to Bergschenhoek and start a new business of 4,5 hectares. The name Steejo comes from the names of the founders Eef en Joke van Steenderen.

The company is facilitated with all techniques to deliver a qualitative good product all year round.
